We proudly invite all enthusiasts and costume makers to participate in a special project – the League of Legends European Cosplay Contest. Show us your
favorite League of Legends characters and create costumes based on all skins released so far!
Do you love how KDA Ahri looks? Prefer cybernetic Project Vayne? Or maybe you would like to get into the Full Metal Pantheon skin?
Share your favorite version of famous heroes!

The competition is open to participants with various skill levels: sewing, designing props, specialists in performing on stage – we’re waiting for you!

The prize pool in the competition is 2,500 Euro, and the unique opportunity to participate in the prestigious offline finals organized on stage during the Pyrkon Fantasy Festival in Poznań!

CONTEST STAGES

I stage

Online contest on the lolcosplay2020.gry-online.pl website

This is a pre-selection stage – to participate, you must submit your application to: cosplay@gry-online.pl via an email, no later than March 31, 2020, 23:59. Applications sent after this deadline will not be accepted, so set a reminder in your calendar!

What does a correctly completed form have to include?

  • Your personal data, including: name, surname, cosplay nickname, country of origin;
  • The name of the character you will cosplay, as well as the skin version;
  • Graphic files including:
    • reference photos – at least 2 photos – including official character graphics (splash-art) and photographs of any props to be used, if applicable;
    • photos showing the creation of the costume – at least 10 photos showing the costume elements being created, and showing the Participant at work. Photos of the Participant in the full costume or its parts, as well as short video materials in .mp4 format, are also welcome;
  • Any additional information regarding the process of the creation of the costume that you might want to send to the jury;
  • GDPR consent: “I agree to transfer and processing of my personal data as required to fulfill the formal requirements relating to the proper conduct of the League of Legends European Cosplay Contest.

An example of an application can be found in the “Form” tab, and the requirements for photos in the Regulations, point 17d.

Remeber that it’s prohibited to exhibit outfits submitted previously to other contests. The costume must be made for the League of Legends European Cosplay Contest!

If you want to share the process of creating costumes on Instagram, please inform us about this in the email, writing your account name and tagging all the pictures with the hashtag #lolcosplay2020. We will publish them in a “Participants” tab. We remind you that this is not mandatory to participate in the competition.

The contest coordinator will gather all your entries and answer any questions.

II stage

Jury round

During this stage, the jury will review your entries and select the finalists of the League of Legends European Cosplay Contest, taking into account various criteria, regulations and the quality of the submitted material.
We will select 16 participants who will take part in the grand finale organized during the Pyrkon Fantasy Festival in Poznań. The results will be announced on April 15, 2020.

The contest coordinator will notify the finalists selected in this round via e-mail, allowing us to start the preparations for your coming to Poznań and participation in the offline finals – we would like to point out that the cosplayers will not bear any travel costs, including tickets or accommodation!

III stage

League of Legends European Cosplay Contest Finals during the Pyrkon Fantasy Festival in Poznań

The last stage of the cosplay challenge!
16 participants will take part in the prestigious finals, where they will be able to present their stage skills and show the full costume in the spotlight. The Jury will consist of recognizable figures of the cosplay community, as well as representatives of Riot Games.
Your performances will be supported by materials that you will send to us before finals: photos and videos, which will be used to create short clips presenting the finalists.

During the finals, the Jury will select three winners of the finals (places I-III) and will also hand out a special “Jury Award.” All these places are guaranteed cash prizes, amounting to 2,500 EUR.

All participants will be under the auspice of the coordinator of the contest – the finalists also have the opportunity to participate in the Pyrkon Fantasy Festival in Poznań.
